YogaSOMATICS: Movement Expressions in Space

In this creative workshop, we will explore yoga gestures, somatic movements and body expressions through time, space and ambient sounds. We will use the “feeling sense” of water to open our sensory awareness combined with subtle body breathing and energetics. There will be time for stillness to integrate and absorb the practice with rest moments and relaxation.
Previous participants have described YogaSOMATICS as “transcendent”, “an exploratory space” and “expansive”.
Deirdre Madden is originally from Ireland and has been a practitioner of yoga for over 20 years. Having previously worked as a psychotherapist, her fascination for body work, spirituality and passion for dance led her to the path of yoga. She is qualified in Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Yoga Nidra and YogaSOMATICS.
